Dal massacro alla manipolazione, ecco come la disumanizzazione giustifica il genocidio a Gaza e l’ipocrisia europea lo sostiene. Pertanto, chiamare «Genocidio» ciò che avviene a oggi a Gaza è un dovere morale.

A view of Amsterdam (The Netherlands) far from the gloss and the myths of tolerance so lovingly celebrated by official discourse. An intellectual who survives within this reality, and who resolutely denounces how behind the veil of a “false welcoming spontaneity” lie segregation, exploitation, and a painful commodification of the Human Being.

Why does this page exist?

I have been asked why, on a website devoted to the art of sound, there should exist a page that concerns itself more with words than with musical notes. I have been asked why, from within the compositional sphere, I feel the need to write, to publish, or simply to intervene through text and speech. Why music is no longer enough. It is no longer enough in this inverted age of ours, where suffering is ignored, war is justified, truth is scorned and beauty is bargain-binned. It no longer suffices when every note I write encounters an unyielding wall of indifference, of imposed narrative, of all-pervasive senselessness.

This page foregrounds the composer as a human being – one who suffers, who sees, who cannot remain silent. These written publications -official and recorded – are not “articles”, nor are they “opinions.” They are the continuation of my music by other means. They are supplications, written in words. They are acts of civil resistance.

Do not come here in search of updates or news. Here you will find only what it was necessary to say, spoken with the urgency of one who witnesses the world sinking into falsehood. This is why I could not remain silent. This is why this page exists on the site that bears my name.

I speak with the awareness of one who has understood that even the strongest voice – even the voice of the most esteemed intellectual – has become irrelevant, has been neutralised. Not because it no longer exists, but because power has succeeded in persuading us that we must coexist with dissent – absorb it, digest it, and put it to use.

Now, more than ever, this reality is all-encompassing. Dissent is staged, spectacularised, monetised. Even pain, today, has become “clickable”; even tragedy is consumed in ten-second bursts on TikTok.

The society Pasolini had already denounced – the one in which:

«Cowardice becomes accustomed to watching others die in the most atrocious ways, with the strangest indifference»

is precisely what we witness today before Gaza. It is humanity, staring at the most horrific images on their phones while eating, never ceasing to chew. Genocide as background noise.

This is why this page exists. And this is why I shall continue to compose music, and to write words – not for those who might wish to “follow” them, but for myself, and for that part of the world which still refuses to prostitute itself.

Do not try to applaud me. Your applause is compromised, corrupted, unwitting.

I have no need of your likes, just as I have no need of your distracted approval. I seek neither an audience nor “followers”: the very word repels me.

I do not offer entertainment.

I compose because I cannot not compose, and because every note is my act of resistance.
So let me be with the only companion who has never betrayed me: Music.
Return to your homogenised daily lives, your influencers, your feeds, your digital shop windows.
And leave me in silence. For my silence sounds better than all your noise.
